Miz Exploring Kyoto : Stone Garden of Ryoan-Ji & Yamabushi’s sweets

Maybe you’ll image this temple’s garden if you hear „Stone Garden“ in Kyoto.  Ryoan-Ji/竜安寺 is located next to Ninna-Ji/仁和寺, was built in Muromachi period by Hosokawa Katsumoto/細川勝元,who is Shogun.  Ryoan-ji is also Zen temple (Rinzai-school/臨済宗). Nowadays it is well known as „Stone Garden“, but the past, „Stroll garden with pound „was popular in Ryoan-ji. I didn’t know how big Ryoan-Ji is!  Not only Stone Garden, but also other gardens are also awesome. To talk about Stone Garden, the creator is still unsure. I think one of the best garden in Japan.
